Welcome

Kuinshoeve Farms is located near Sussex, the agricultural center of New Brunswick. The farm covers several hundreds of acres of prime pasture and farm land straddling the Smiths Creek. The Smiths Creek valley is well known for its beauty and its old wooden covered bridges.

The farm, owned and operated by Jacob and Leda Kuin is home to a herd of 400 beef animals and a flock of about 100 sheep. Most animals are raised on the farm from the day of birth and are fed a diet of grass, silage and grain or grain products. No commercial feed nor steroids or growth hormones are used in the raising of the animals. This practice guarantees healthy animals that safely can be used for human consumption.

Lamas Lamas

As life on the farm does not mean just work and business there are also a few animals for none-commercial purposes. The lamas are here for fun and mingle with the sheep and although it is said that they ward off attacks by coyotes we can not prove that point.
